I bought this product as a result of it indicated thirty second heat up time. it's nice. You plug it in, hit the on button, choose a heat level (1-15) , and in but thirty seconds it's hot. No additional waiting around for the iron to heat up. fast bit ups take no time in any respect. i will never return to the ""old style"" plug and wait.

OK, therefore once reading all of the reviews on this product my wife buys one. Well, in concerning half dozen weeks the iron will not heat anymore. Sent it in got a brand new one owing to the two year warranty (cost $10.00 for shipping & handling and they wished $3.00 for themselves). She used it concerning four months and then the insufficient spring breaks. Having used different curling irons over the years and having had to switch the springs, we have a tendency to thought to decision Conair and have them send us a replacement spring, about a $.10 item that takes concerning sixty seconds to switch. Well, they now not sell the springs. The wished to possess us pack it up once more and pay another $10.00 for shipping AND send them $3.00 to boot. Who are they kidding? What quite service are they giving their customers. i'll never get another Conair product. I gave this product only 1 star as a result of i could not go any lower.
